36T cam bearings
I am having the 212 engine from my 36 Terraplane rebuilt. I located a set of NOS cam bearings for the job. The machine shop is telling me that one of the bearings ( I think its the middle one) is too loose of a fit in the block. The block is fine and the old bearing that came out fit fine. Did Hudson make oversized bearings for some motors? Any thoughts on what might be going on here?

Im very surprised that the OD of the NOS bearing is loose in the block. You may have to get one of your used bearings re white metaled. Assuming that the old brgs were removed without any damage. They are pinned to hold them in location and very hard to remove. Let us know how you go.0
