As long as the manifold has a flat mating surface dry will do nicely.0

I would use blue Hylomar; it is the best and not cheap !!

Doug Wildrick recommended to me to use the Permatex Ultra. Very thin coating on both sides was his recommendation. Above all else, which I’m sure you know, is a flat clean surface.
