hi guys! On the hunt for a running 262 to drop into my 47 commodore in the So Cal area.

    Highly recommend you hunt for a running narrow block 262 as no one manufactures the wide block 262 head gasket anymore and that could be an issue for you down the road.

    There's a 262 with overdrive offered for sale on a previous post. "Airbrush Guy". Just a few days ago and has video of it running.

    where are you located.  I re-built a 262 that was bored .040 over.  50 mi N of Albany, NY

    Im in Lubbock, TX and have a running 262 from a ‘51 Commodore
