Hudson Straight 8 Engine Stand

I’ve been looking at both a “put together” HF engine stand (2,000 lbs capacity) and building an actual stand for storage of the 8 cylinder engine until I’m ready to rebuild it.
Does anyone have plans for a storage stand?
Has anyone used a HF 2000lb engine stand?

I have a2k lb. HF engine stand and held up pretty well with my 254on it. It's made a bit differently than most cheap stands. This is a bit better cheap engine stand.

I made a simple 4 castor angle iron trolley for my Hudson 8 to sit on, I'll take a photo when I'm down the shed.0

The trolley is made from 1 1/2" x 1/8" angle with a HD 4" castor at each corner. The floor is a piece of 5/8" ply that sits in the frame, the engine sump sits on the ply.
At the front end there are a pair of uprights with short horizontal pieces of angle that are drilled to coincide with the bolt holes for the front mounts, these stop the engine from tipping sideways off the trolley.
I can attach and detach the clutch and gear box to the rear of the engine if I wish.
