Cleaning up a few things on the 37 Hudson
As I did some final preparations for the high compression heads installation, I had to address a couple things first. Since I’m not using the heater & have no plans to use it, I was looking for a different plug for the top of the head, one to clean it up. Below is a pic of what was present in the old head.

After a little searching I found a nice 304 stainless steel plug with a recessed allen head. With a bit of work I was able to get it recessed nicely.

Naturally, I wasn’t about to let this horrible thing back in my blocks drain hole.

So there too I found a matching 304 stainless steel plug with a recessed allen head. Here too I was able to get it recessed nicely.
