Forgot to mention it's a 53 Hornet. Thanks.

I got the cowl screen off, no problem. The reason I was doing this is the heater puts out warm air on the pass. side of the heater box and cool air on the dr. side. I thought somehow something got thru the vent and was blocking one side of the heater core. I could not feel anything down inside the vent. I don't see how it would make any difference what position the heater hoses go onto the heater core, but, the Super Six heats very nicely and the Hornet doesn't. On the S.S the heater hose from the water pump goes onto the top connection on the heater core and the Hornet is just the opposite. Both hoses (in and out) on the heater core are very hot, can't hold them more than a few seconds. Any ideas why heater puts out cold air on the pass. side only? Thanks. Richie.
