    And someone has added 1950 side trim to a 1948/49 car, is that a common thing to do?

    Anna; adding side trim from the subsequent years and models was a Hudson Dealer “up sell” provided to dealers who could not sell a new car to an existing Hudson owner.

    I drive by the Vehicle Vault every day. Cool place, but has been for sale for at least a year. We had a chapter get together there this past summer.
