6V coil / ignition questions

Helping a friend with his 32 Terraplane. We rewired the car using a harness from Rhode Island Wiring.
All the lights and the horn work fine. The oil pressure and amp warning lights work when the key is turned ON. The car turns over fine. Problem is no spark. Tested the coil per Geoff's reply in kamzack's 6 Volt Coil post, no spark. Attached markup shows the voltage readings we get with the key in the ON position. The reading at the BAT terminal is the same 7.2V with the key either ON or OFF which would seam correct. Does the 0.14V reading at the DIS terminal seam correct?
Also replaced the plug and hi tension coil to distributor wires with a set from Rhode Island Wiring. The cores are multi strand wire that appear silver in color which I assume are tinned copper not carbon core. Any suggestions and/or help would be appreciated.

Yes, those are correct readings. Manually open the points, and the voltage at the output side of the coil should also rise to 7.2v. When you open the points you should get a spark from the centre of the coil when wire held half an inch from the chassis ground. If still no spark you have either a bad coil or bad condenser.0

You can test the resistance of both the primary and secondary windings of the coil to see if they are within spec. (Make sure you disconnect all the wires on the coil prior to doing a resistance test).

New points? Have you checked to see if the points have continuity? New points may be coated with a non conducting film.0

I know the condenser was changed, not sure about the points. More checking to do
