1952 Hydramatic swap to manual help?

The '52 Wasp Hollywood i have just bought is an automatic and i dislike automatic transmissions, even in modern cars. 

How easy is it to change to manual? ideally I'd like something like an S10 T5 but open to suggestions. I want a nice tall cruising gear. 

I understand that Wilcap used to make an adapter kit but they stopped... is there anyone else making a decent kit? 

I am happy to fabricate the clutch pedal assembly if I have to, or is this something that will simply bolt in from a donor car that is breaking for spares?

Is this the 55 engine? Does it have a 55/56 crank?

I have no idea, I guess it's the original engine so a 262ci that would come in a '52. The car is at the shippers in SF currently.

FYI

Randy Maas has made them at 21St Century Hudson and Willcap makes the adapter with flywheel... Bendtsen Speed Gems may too.

Here is a Person that made a Dry clutch, Linkage, and Adapter, for a T6 into a Hornet for a Club Member in Cleveland.... They have mated other Vintage Flathead 6's with Standard Tranmission and apparently enjoy the challenges.....Vintage MetalworksAtwater Ohio 330 322 3102
