53 Hood Ornament

Does anyone know if a jet and hornet hood ornament are the same?  I see they carry a different part number, but I was wo dering if they are interchangable.

    They are NOT the same. Hornets have a raised portion running down the center of the hood Jets don't.

    Count the 'black' spaces.  The Jet has 10.  Hornet has 12.

    The Hornet one has a hump in the bottom of it. for the raised part of the hood.
