Honeycomb radiator repair

Anyone had any success doing minor repair to a 1935 vintage honeycomb radiator?

Depends on where it needs repairing.  If the core is leaking then  there is not much you can do, but if only the seams where the tanks are soldered you can have some success.  You cannot "tube-out" a honeycomb core.  If there is a leak  out of an outer seam of the  core you can sometimes solder this, but overall they are not a good prospect for  long term repair.   Far better to replace with a modern core.

Only difference is the  series.    Super models had a different bypass and thermostat, but the cores are the same as 1934.
