WANTED radiator Fan blade assembly

You can use any fan blade assembly from '34-'55... Preferably use the later models ('54 onwards) as they are stronger, quieter, and shift more air.0

I can't use anything bigger than a 17". This Hudson fan I have is 18" and will rub the hood on this little 32 Terraplane. So, whatever years used 17" is what I'm after.0
-
Jet fan is 17". Hornet is 18". Not a big job to trim half an inch off the end of each blade.0
-
I was worried about affecting the balance of the assembly by trimming....0

My 1934 fan has 4 blades not 6. It's made up of 2 crossed "propellers" held together by 4 bolts. I think this is original equipment.0
-
I don't think Hudson ever used a 6 blade fan.

That fan would sound like a turbo-prop aircraft taking off.0
