The seal is National 240356. The cross shaft bearings are B 2016 Torrington. Upper steering box bearing is Timken 11BC. The corresponding cone is Bower13C. Lower box bearing is Timken 14C. The corresponding cone is Timken 11BC. It's a pain in the butt to change the upper bearing on the box.0

Thank you so much for the info!
It has just started leaking at the pittman arm, and the gearbox is still tight, so I'm hoping to just replace the seal with the gear still in the car.0 -
FYI
If difficult removing the seal In chassis there is an alternative. John Deere Corn Head Lube AN102562 designed for gear boxes with leaking Seals. $6 or $7 a Tube.

Look it up Online for yourself. Its designed to cling to spiral Teeth just like 90-140 Gear Lube, unlike normal chassis Lube. Its in stock at most local John Deere Tractor/Mower Stores. You will need drill the Cap for a Zerk fitting though.
