I wanted to see if anyone has used other makes etc for window channels that are tough to find. I rebuilt the regulators and have 1 channel that is very rough. This is a Tudor Typical keyhole glides Thanks

Hello 33, I have the window setting channel, see attached. 24 " is $10.00 and 32" is $13.00. Vic's Auto. Window Channels. thez@verizon.net, (562) 947-5864 voice mail.0

Remove the existing brackets and attach to the new channel.0

Seems as though the keyholes could be easily made with a milling machine. Have some new ones made. Should not be expensive0

It’s more than that. The slot is concave so to speak for button to glide. I’d say tough to make but doable. No mill here so hrs to fab out would be stupid dollars for non concourse type ride. It needs to be milled out then pressed, again doable but maybe someone has used different make and with home fab made work.0

Sounds like it might have a rolled edge or something similar and that changes the degree of difficulty and/or time involved0

I’ve got some of these that I have not identified. What overall length do you need?0

I have ten pieces, three different styles. None have the keyhole slots together like that.0

Thanks Ken. I just contacted and left message. If there key hole slot is 7” then I should be good to go and fab up a set using different rail from Vic. I’ll follow up0

I pulled trigger with joes antique auto. Specialists in ford. He said only one place makes these and are located in Argentina. Will update once I receive.0

A update is in order. I received the channels from joes with understanding that they need help. They are specd out for 33 ford. For what it’s worth they are terrible out of box which is what was told so no big deal. Then I ordered channel from victor. Channel was true and perfect. Now to modification. I’m not bent metal but I’m happy with them. I let one run wild and trimmed other. Once I install window channel guide it should be sweet. I test fitted on regulator and other than possibly trimming rail which might not be needed here’s pics. Key holes were the most important part as far as being same distance so it can be brought off window as needed. One last thing Victor is a stand up guy and I will always refer him. Have fun and stay safe.0
