hood orn

hello everybody. I have a question for ya's. I bought a hood orn of line and they said it was for a 53 hudson super wasp 2fr coupe, which is what I have but when I went to try it out....guess what. It didn't fit. My hood was more of a curve to it. The orn I bought had more of a flat surface. Does anyone have or know where I could get an orn for a 53 wasp? I have this orn that I can do nothing with. Maybe a trade...does anyone know what year this is off from or know anyone who could use this? I will post pics later today if anyone is interrested. Ron, I have a hood ornament for a 53 Super Wasp sedan that I have no use for. It is pitted somewhat and would need to be rechromed to be show worthy. If you will pay for shipping, I will send it to you. My email address is XXXDeuce76063@yahoo.com. (remove the 3 x's)

Ron, I think you probably have the ornament for a Jet. The Jet has no cut out on the bottom, the Super Wasp would have a cut out for the shape of the hood. Sorry, I don't have a spare, I think any 53 will work, except of course, not a Jet!

ok....that would make sence. Since someone was nice enough to help me out I will do the same. If anyone needs a hood orn for a Jet..please drop me a line. link to pics above. It does have pits but has no cracks and threads are clean. Pay for shipping and its all yours. I sent you a e-mail swasp. I really appre it. God I love this site!
