Hudson 8 tail light lens

Came across a pair of these at a swap meet. They are made in glass and measure 70mm or 2 3/4" in diameter. The curious thing about them is that they have "MADE IN JAPAN #146" on the rear of the rim.



There are 2 questions. What Hudson 8 do these fit? Does anyone know the story behind these Japanese reproductions?

    Going by the look of them they are off a 1934 Hudson 8 .Can not help with the Japanese production.
