I came across this 1949 Hudson coupe a while back while looking for Hudsons on the web. I'd buy it myself if I lived on the mainland. I'm supprised its still available. Just click the address below. Once at the site click Classic Cars, then scroll to 1949 and there it is!

  • Here is a picture. I wish I knew how to post it on my post.

  • Here's the picture. To post a picture you merely need its URL (its coded location on the internet, obtained by right-clicking on the photo, then clicking 'PROPERTIES' in the resulting pop-up. It will end in '.jpg.')

Once you get the properties dialog box, highlight the URL in the the properties box, and right-click 'COPY'. Then when you're ready to post on the Forum, click IMAGE under the INSTANT UBB CODE, put your cursor in the resulting window, and right-click PASTE. This transfers the URL to the image window. Then press OK.

(This may sound complicated but it's basic internet 'cut and paste' technology).

Anyway, here is what you will get:

  • I and Steve T saw that car at that place in IL, on our way to the national in Madison. I opened the right front door, and it fell off the car, had to get Steve to help me put it back on, as the metal that the hinges bolted to had rusted away from leaky "S" seals and salt, etc the car sat out for years, Its a great parts car for some things on it thougjh, but its a $1000 car or less, Definitely not the inflated $4950 asking price. Most of the cars there are crappy and way overpriced. They charge admission to walk around and look at the cars. smirk.gif
