Starter Conversion (6v to 12v) on my \'54
I was emailed by Park Waldrop concerning the field coil that was used by the folks who converted my
6v starter to 12v, and so I did some research, as Park wanted to update his data base,
"12v. Conversion Data for Hudson Stepdown Models".
I telephoned the guy, Tim, at Ivie's Alternator, Columbia, Tn, this a.m., and he provided the following:
normally he uses the ST-210 (Ace Auto Electric) field coil; or, alternatively, 55-02-4405 (Wilson)
I hope this is helpful to those who wish to convert/update.
Thanks, to Park Waldrop for his efforts in compiling his data base; THANKS, Park!
