Oil Psi.
This is what we found on a Hudson race engine many years back.
The engine oil drain hole in the lower part of block had a broken drill bit left in the hole. ( where did it come from? ) Oil psi was in the 60-65 range.
The lower plug just below the by-pass plug was removed and a hose was installed there and held over into the oil filler tube with engine running, oil sprayed out into the filler pipe and oil psi went down to 30-35.
