Stepdown Radiator Core P/N Needed

I seem to remember a thread on this forum suggesting that a 76 and up Dodge full size van V8 radiator is a direct fit in stepdowns. If that is the case, a new core should be available for a rebuild. Also, another thread stated that a Honda V6 SUV aluminum radiator was a match. You can probably do a search and find the thread(s) to contact the authors for more info. I hope this helps.

Hi John,
I seem to remember there was no problem finding stepdown radiator cores when I lived in Southern California, as there's lots of radiator shops down there. The Lake Tahoe area is very limited, and the few shops there don't want to bother. The long Beach area has a high concentration. If any of your chapter members have had this work done, please have them share any leads to John R.0 -
Hi Ray,
Appeciate all your help. The radiator shop I was using was the in Gardnerville near you. I'll check the one in South Lake while I'm waiting for more info from HET members.
