The other day my nephew met a guy that is looking for a good home for his used 1949 254-8 cyl. motor, including an overdrive manual transmission. This is located in Penngrove, CA (near Sonoma?)

His name is Jeff Adkins, and he runs a business called Moose Motors Obsolete Brake Parts. Phone is (707) 792-9985.

I don't know any more about it than this, but have reason to believe he's not asking too much for this, if someone needs a spare, etc. He doesn't want to junk it, and would rather see it go to someone that needs it. So I told him I'd post this here, and see what happens.

Hudsonly,

Doug

Mr. Adkins worked on my 56 Hornet with Packard v8 and ultramatic, and did a great job! My ultramatic does'nt leak a drop seven years later. I highly recomend his work for anyone with a Packard, or a Hudson or Nash with the Packard v8 and ultramatic!
