1949 Motor and Transmission in California
The other day my nephew met a guy that is looking for a good home for his used 1949 254-8 cyl. motor, including an overdrive manual transmission. This is located in Penngrove, CA (near Sonoma?)
His name is Jeff Adkins, and he runs a business called Moose Motors Obsolete Brake Parts. Phone is (707) 792-9985.
I don't know any more about it than this, but have reason to believe he's not asking too much for this, if someone needs a spare, etc. He doesn't want to junk it, and would rather see it go to someone that needs it. So I told him I'd post this here, and see what happens.
Hudsonly,
Doug

I'll check with Ken Perkins (So Cal Chapter). He was looking for one. Niels0

Mr. Adkins worked on my 56 Hornet with Packard v8 and ultramatic, and did a great job! My ultramatic does'nt leak a drop seven years later. I highly recomend his work for anyone with a Packard, or a Hudson or Nash with the Packard v8 and ultramatic!0
