Fuel Pumps
My car is converted to 12 volt Neg. ground. I want to put a 12 volt fuel pump in the line from the tank. Which type can I use and keep my mech. pump. When starting the car after it sits for a couple of weeks I have to crank the engine till the carbs fill. I want to use the 12 volt pump to fill the carbs and run on the original pump.

JCWhitney has them. Just cut the fuel line under the body where you can get at it good, install with hose, and put a transparent plastic filter just ahead of it. Got one on my 52. Works great.0

I know how to install one, there are two types one can be used with the old pump in place the other puts a strain on the old pump when trying to pull the gas thru electric pump. I want to know which type to order0
