I was at Toy R Us yesterday to buy a gift for a friend's one year old and happened to spy some toy cars from the movie Cars. But no Doc Hudson cars. So either they are very popular, or they haven't put them out yet. They only had the nascar car and the tow truck. I was bummed! But I did manage to find a cool chopped 63 T-Bird to add to my son's collection (he also has a 58 Bel Air, Cuda, 55 Olds Cv, 49 Buick Cv, Dodge Ram P/U, 49 Merc lead sled, 65 Mustang Cv, etc., etc., etc. My son has more 1/18 and 1/24 scale metal cars than I think I ever had during my childhood! I guess I spoil him (just a 'lil bit :-)) But he's started off right and he loves cars as much as I did as a kid. Now if I can only find the Doc car (w/o having to pay thru the nose on Ebay)!

I looked up whatever online information I could find about Cars movie toys about a week ago.

It appears that the Doc Hudson character does not yet have a toy.

Only Lightning McQueen (NASCAR) and Mater (tow truck) seem to be available at this time.
