Do you think that these are radials ?0

Maybe the gentlemen that has the original car that the movie was patterned after knows. Since I think he races the car he probably knows what works best.0

Nuttin' on a google search for Glidewell tires.
But, then I'd never heard of Yokohama until a set showed up on a car I bought recently.

46 Hudson , That was a good one. I'm still laughing. I have to see if I can get my 54 Hornet to try........0

Glidewell? I'd imagine that would be a good description of the Hudson's ride! I seriously doubt its a real tire mfg.
I've tried to get the Wasp to smile like that, the end result was I smiled bigger!
Oh, have your kids/grandkids start eating Fruit Loops - my daughter came to me last night with a toy "Sallie" the porsche! Sure enough, I looked on the back of the box and there are some Doc Hudson's out there somewhere!

I contacted the vulcanologist, he gave me a funny hand gesture and replied,
"be well, and prosper"
I took it as a good sign.

On one of the video promos for the movie, the tire name on the main character was LIGHTYEAR, I think. Those Pixar guys seem to be good at getting close enough to make you think of the real brand, but not enough to pay for it.0

I know Lightyear tires. A guy named Buzz started the company.0
