    Bob, I found one on a 54 Hornet I just finished for Mac. It uses bushings in place of the needle bearings but since the pin is much longer, the bushings are further apart. They seem to be more stable and less prone to moving and causing toe changes. As soon as I saw your note here, I bought one from the seller.The ad said he had two. I think it's a very worthwhile part. I am going to put it on my 49 Super Six. By the way i never got a chance to put those steering arms on the 54 with P/S. It's still up in Tennessee.

    Interesting - looks pretty simple. Anyone own a machine shop out there? :)

    I have some pictures I took of the used one I had off the 54 while I was working on it. I will send them to anyone interested and if they can post 'em fine.They ebay photo pretty much shows it all.
