HELP NEEDED: Drive Train Vibration

I had the same problem with my Jet when I fitted radials. It seems I used the wrong specification tyres. The ones I used were transport specs. I took them off and went back to cross-plies, and the noise went away. I still have a supply of cross-plies to use up, so I'll stick with them until they are all gone.

Hi, I worked at a tire shop for about 6 years and will tell you alot of times people put on new tires and notice something that they did not before. Usually its not the tires but drivetrain related. They got used to their car the way it was, and would blame me for their problems. From what I have seen new tires only help a car, unless you have a size that is completely wrong for the vehicle. If it is a vibration determine its frequency. how fast is it? As fast as the tire rotates, or as fast as the driveshaft rotates? Tires make a car shake a little, the drivetrain makes it hum and you can here it.0
