Factory battery

I think this question has been discussed before, but I've forgotten the answer. Does anyone know what brand of battery was supplied by the factory in a '53 Hornet? I'm trying to get my car as box-stock as possible, and don't know what battery to put in there. Somewhere, I saw a Hudson battery case, but I think it was a one-off made by someone in the club. I doubt Hudsons came out with Hudson batteries.
What script was on the originals?? Also did they have the exposed lead cell connectors between the cells on the top??
