When overhauling the Hudson clutch system should one add more Hudsonite than the standard refill amount for the first time around?

Bill is right, no need to add oil if you soak plate before installation, but you will need to add more after installation if you do not soak plate first as the corks will soak up some of the fluid thus needing more to avoid shudder.
  • I think you're also supposed to change it after the first 500 miles on a new clutch....I guess this also insures that the new corks didn't soak up all the Hudsonite....
