I think it got up to 26,999 last time0

I am sure this guy wants to break 40K on this auction.0

I agree and with the movie coming out , he might .....0

Remember, this car sold at the Portland swap meet last month to this dealer on the first day. sticker price at that time was 28,500. Nice, but not original (ie: power steering, wrong reverse lights, carpeted trunk) Of course, I really shouldn't be picking on someone else's work...0
-
I saw that at the portland swapmeet too. It was pretty nice.0
-
Its a nice car and 28.5K is a pretty good price. The dealer will expect to add 10K to that I have watched his auctions before.0
-
I think it's worth it. It would cost alot more than 38,500 to do a nice resto to that degree. Chrome , paint , engine rebuild , Tranny rebuild , Front end , parts if you can find them all, interior, and lot's and lot's of labor.0
-
Would have been nicer to buy it at 28.5K at the swap meet. Very nice looking car.0

Just got the price to rechrome everything on my 50 hudson...$5100.00 ouch
So it is getting more and more expensive to restore these cars0 -

Hec, just paint all the chrome and call it a "custom"- LOL0 -
This is the same car that sold at the Portland swap meet. The owner/dealer has an asking price of $34,000+ on it at this time and did correct some of the problems it had when it was sold at the Expo in April.0
-
be interested to know what they corrected. still looks like it has some overspray on RR quarter. guess I could just drive across the river and find out...0
-
Hey, I plan on powder-coating the bumpers on my '37 Terraplane. For $225.00 to pc versus $745.00 for chrome, I think I'll run with the powder.0

The 53 Hornet got delisted . I believe it sold locally. Somewhere around $35,000.000
