I think because it keeps its Hudson Lineage complete. I have a few stories of Hudson owners in the 50's buying engines from the dealer and installing them in Hudsons they never came in. Keeps it all Hudson. Really its just a matter of Hudson is better. May not be true to some people but a lot of Hudnuts only go Hudson powertrain.0

I personally had a ride in this one a couple years ago, it's a real nice truck, and would be a great investment for someone who wants a 'turn-key & cruise' machine. Bill is a long time Hudson-nut, and knows the Hudson marque as well as anyone I've ever known. He was a service tech. in Racine, Wisc. back in the hay-day of the fabulous Hornet, so this is one true Hudson, front to rear, with the exception of the Grand Am seats & console. Kinda tight fit for anyone over 6', but nothing that couldn't be changed without too much effort ! Bill used a radiator from a step-down on this conversion, fits like OEM, has a 3 on the tree W/OD, and hauls down the road effortlessly ! Anyone lookin' for a great, roadworthy Hudson pickup, this is a prime candidate.
