Did Hudson...?

Offer glove box, trunk or under hood lights? My 53 shop manual supplement lists bulbs for them but the electrical scematic doesn't show the wiring. Anyone have these on a Hudson?

  • My 51 has a Glove Box light. And yes you could buy under hood and trunk lights from Hudson to be installed by the dealer or by the owner. You see them coming up from time to time on ebay.

I don't know if you have the mechandiser discs that Alex Burr sells but if you get those you will see all the accessories that Hudson offered for the 49-55 time period. Some really good stuff in there.

Hudson Service Merchandisers - 1949 (Vol 1, #1) to 1954 (Vol. 6, Nr. 7) on CD for $15 - or, as a special I'm offering my General Information Handbook for Hudson Built Automobiles, plus the Information Bulletins Art Adams inserted in the WTN while he was editor in the mid-1970's - which also include the ones I did from 1994 to current following Art's format and the Service Merchandisers - all on two CD's for $25. This is a $10 saving over buying these separately.

    Thanks for your interest.
  • Thanks for the info. Looks like a need to invest in the CD's.
