Looks like something you would build a chopper with! Maybe outfit a trailer with early hudson fenders!
  • Are those barnacles on the cowl? lol If you ever chemical dipped those peices, I doubt there would be enough left over to make 1 beer can!

  • Look at the front fender. It is not a 1922 fender. More like a 1926 with the ridges. Rich Smithen..

I bought some parts from this person over ebay a few months back for my 24 Hud Tourer. They were advertised as 1930 in the heading, then the article spoke how they were 1928 parts but the photos showed the parts were 1926.The parts recently sold were what I left behind and didnt want. I believe they are 1926 not 1922. Guards were OK but how many chassis & cowls does one need?

The seller is a scrap metal buyer with a love of old cars. Great bloke and family. Wish all scrap dealers were like Kim and tried to pass on parts to restorers. Regards, Barry

I rebuilt a '22 Essex tourer some years ago, with nothing much more than this to start with, so don't ever be tempted to trash this sort of stuff. After all, they aren't being made any more!
