waterpump 34 terraplane 6cyl
The car starts great now but the waterpump is leaking. If i greese it it will stop leaking for 2-3 short trips but then it starts leaking again. I am using waterpump greese i found at a model A vender.
I live in newhampshire and would like to know if there are any parts suppliers nearby i could purchase some parts from. thanks

Have you contacted Dave Kostansek to see if he has any rebuilt ones? Not sure who sells just the parts, though.0

Does it have the open type original pump? If so it needs repacking, or the gland tightening.

How do i get in cantact with Dave? I would like to have a spare pump. I have been told the pump i have is the replacement type. There is no adjustment on it just a greese fitting. I did get a rebuild kit from a local antique parts dealer (Jack regans antique parts depot) The kit is a Thompson products part # ws52. The instructions show a different stye pump but i was told it will work. I would like to have a backup pump if this dosent work. I will be driving a friends daughter to the junior prom next saturday so i am going to leave the old pump in. (6mi round trip) I dont want to ground my plane for a few drops of water. I also understand that it is not wize to drive with a leaky pump.I am sure there will be only one 34 terraplane at the dance.thanks0
