Pre-'48 8 engine needed

A gent in Australia has a '47 that needs an engine. Anyone have a good or rebuildable pre '48 8 cyl. engine? He wants at least one complete engine, and preferably two if the one isn't recently rebuilt or is otherwise questionable (Probably a short block would suffice for the "spare."). Seller would need to have the engine crated or put on a pallet for truck freight to Atlanta.     Park, this is an obvious question but...has he been in touch with the Hudson folks in Oz, such as the Pendleburys?

    Jon, I don't know if he was before (he's not yet in the club ... just recently learned about it!), but I did give him e-mail addresses for the Pendleburys and Geoff Clark. I've not yet had a response to that msg to him yesterday.
