It looks to be in very good shape.

  • Am I wrong, or does it look like somebody cut a radio into the dash under the wheel, and the speedomete is gone. You can see the "radio wire (?)" hanging down through it. Also, what year did they start making the Super Six. I thought that it always said that on the white triangle, but very probably I am mistaken. Does the rear end look strange to anyone else, and why am I so picky. LOL!

o.k. I'm trying to learn here. By looking at the Butler book, it shows the 1915 Models with a square windshield at the bottom. One of the changes on the 1916 Models was a new windshield with a slight curvature at the bottom. So, could it be a 1916 Super Six?

Interesting, but there are a lot of other cars in the background of those pictures. And the Hudson has an AACA sticker on the windshield. That auction is about 2 hours from me, will try to find out more about it.

Car sold for $10,200. The hole in the center of the dashboard is where the speedometer should be.
  • That just doesn't look right with that stereo in the dash, but that's easy to fix. Whomever bought the car, looks like they got a nice one, overall.

What looks like a radio in the dash is the amp meter and ing. and lighting controls. I have the same controls on my 17. Not a bad looking car.
  • The filler neck protruding from the dash is for oil, or gas? If for gas, that would be handy nowadays. I could just pull up to the pump and tell my wife to fill er up. At least she wouldn't have to get out of the car, lol.
