I Was At Bob Evans Saturday For Breakfast And Low And Behold There It Was, Doc Hudson Pez Dispenser. Still Trying To Get The Doc Hudson In The Cerael Box, Havent Got It Yet, But The Neighbors Family Is Glad Of That, They Wont Be Buying Cerael For A While.

That Pez Dispenser sounds great.

I can't even get the Doc Hudson cereal box toy. The cereal boxes here in NC don't have them. All it says on the box is that you can trade in proofs of purchase for a license plate (at least I think that's the deal...).

I just noticed a box of cheezits had on the back 2 UPC's and $2.99 will get you a Doc Hudson key ring - but it isn't Doc itself, I don't think.

At least the Doc Hudson is here in NC in K-Mart. But I was disappointed with the one I saw. It just looked like a bad imitation of a Hudson without Doc's famous smile. It was $3.99, which made it even worse.

Have you guys seen the new Doc Hudson toy at the Disney store? My neighbors just picked one up and gave it to me for my birthday. It is a riot. The wheels wind up and you can shoot it across the floor and the best part is when you shake it it makes racing engine sounds with Paul Newmans voice talking, it's a blast. Took it to the local chapter picnic yesterday and it was cracking everyone up.

I was in Wal-Mart in South Haven,MI satuday and saw a Valvoline oil display featuring the cars from CARS. Srveral boxes were marked Doc Hudson

Bought 2 of them the other day. One for my boy to play with and one to keep in the package for safekeeping. The voice on the opened one doesn't work very well though.

Caution on the Valvoline deal. The boxes show Doc Hudson but if you read the print it says Valvoline NASCAR car. Had them open one box that had Doc Hudson and it was the Valvoline car.

Well one more message on CARS, just got my issue of AUTOWEEK and they feature the movie this week. There is also an artical on the Hudson and how it may renew intrest in the make.

You can find them on eBay for a dollor or two, and even with shipping, it's cheaper than "buying stock in Kellogg's." LOL

The wife just came home from Wal-Mart. She found a poster for Doc Hudson and there was newly made material in the yardage department. It's everywhere you look.

The real question is "why can't I find a sun shade with big blue eyes on it for my stepdown Hudson?" You would think someone would be making these already by the thousands for sale before and when the movie hits the theaters? Maybe I should start making them? Ah, yes - can see it now.... my second million $$$$$$$$$.

How about some new last minute Regional Hudson club get togethers and we can head to the movies to see the movie in our Doc Hudson's :-)



My town still has a Drive In so I will post when CARS is going to play and maybe some of the local PA/MD/VA folks will come up last minute and help me take over the parking lot? We could make a day cruise out of it hitting all the local departments stores and cerael isles at the food stores before the movie starts :-) Anyone interested?
