H.D. Flasher

I'm running a 269 (P229D) right now. The switch is from a '52-3 (with integral stop/signal bulbs) although it's currently in a 1937. I have two 21cp bulbs in the forward flashers and the regular dual-filament bulbs in the rear lights. Just installed it and it seems to work fine. I don't know whether the 269 is a current number (or course, it's 6 volt so may be discontinued).
I was previously running a 535 (Tung-Sol) but I heard that this is discontinued.
If your local parts house can't come through, I suggest you contact Dave Kostansek in Ohio (he advertises in the WTN and is in the HET roster) or just Google those flasher numbers; someone is always selling that stuff on the internet.0 -
Hello 52,
pretty sure a flasher for a 6 volt Volkswagen will be a lot easier to find.0
