Fan Belt
Anyone have a current number for a replacement fan belt? I called my local NAPA and he could not find the NAPA 349 that's supposed to fit. I gave him the 3 Gates numbers and he said they all cross referenced to other numbers. Anyone get one recently?

I don't have that information but I got mine from Dave Kostansek, if you have a few days to have it shipped to you.0

Thanks to all for the info. I ordered the NAPA 25-4400 as it was the only one he could get in a couple of days (the 25-10700 wasn't available from the warehouse, but could be ordered, his guess 7-10 days).
The 25-4400 (made by Gates) is a "coged" or "toothed" type belt so its doesn't look like the original. It is also smaller (40-5/8" X 3/4" @ 36 degrees vs. the original 41-3/16" X 3/4" @ 34 degrees).
It was tough to get on (I had to swing the generator tight to the block), but once on it is fine, with plenty of adjustment. Total cost was $14.50 (with AAA discount).
The other NAPA belt (25-10700) is longer 42.55" x 3/4" x 36 degrees. It should also work. I don't know what type of belt it is.
Thanks again.0
