Cheap Hudson Replacement engines

I think those were the ones J. C. Whitney offered for sale - I love the disclaimer in Hornet ad for "non-automotive" use. I strongly suspect they did that to get around AMC taking them to court - as in "Car engines - mon we ain't selling no car engnes!!!".
Wonder where J. C. got all those engines.

You will have that in the air cleaners, paint, decals, etc. See you at the W. Reg.

Don't suppose there is one or two left in back stock, sitting over in a dark dusty corner of the warehouse, Do you?? HA HA!!!!

I actually remember those in the J. C. Whitney catalogue- I was intrigued by the dual carbs and the big displacement, and remember having some spirited discussions with classmates (about 5th or 6th grade) about the relative merits vs. other engines. I'm thinking those ads were in '59 or '60- after even Hash had shut down. I'm sure Kelvinator just "job-lotted" them out to get rid of those that were left.0

Where can I place my order?
