'37 Hudson Terraplane Value (Parting Out)
I have a car that I will be parting out (chassis, engine w/ trans and suspension) and was wondering about the value of these type of parts and where a good place to advertise would be. Body tag VIN is 7145585. I believe this is all original.
Could anyone give me some direction as to the value and the name of a website that I might meet some potential Buyers?
Thanks in advance.

A logical place to advertise these parts would be in the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club magazine. Even if you are not a member, it is possible to advertise Hudsons or parts in the magazine (for a limited time) at no charge, if you do it with the recommendation of a Club member. The magazine goes to over 3500 Hudson enthusiasts, which is probably an even better coverage than this Hudson Forum.
You may even want to offer the entire car, in which case you can be rid of all the parts at once, without the hassle of taking it apart and then ending up with a lot of unsold stuff you have to sit on, or haul away.
As Rick said, above, it's hard for anyone to assess the value of the parts without seeing their condition...and even then, value depends upon how badly the potential buyer needs them! You can e-mail me with a description and maybe I can throw some ballpark figures at you.
If you're interested in placing the ad, e-mail me at HETdetailed@verizon.net (delete the HET from the address first). I can give you further information.0 -
Thanks to you both for the replies. That's exactly the type of info I was looking for Jon. I've sent you an email.

Update: Jon;
I sent an email indicating that I would like to place an ad in the mag. The email was returned. Could you email me at rkyostia@comcast.net
Thank you,

Somebody on this Forum had contacted me about the electric shift (I can't remember the correct name for it!) asking if I was going to sell it. I don't have that on the car that I bought but;
While I was gathering parts for my engine, I bumped into a guy that has all of the components for the electric shift as well as; the gauge cluster with speedo etc.
I have no need for any of those parts but if anyone does need them here's his name and phone number: Dave Cell (607) 591-9040 and Home is (607) 753-9972. He's in central NY state.
Hope this helps!

So, where is the car located???0

I've purchased 2 cars. One in Indy and the other in PA.
Sorry but I'm at a loss. The electric shifting pieces are not on either of the cars. They are in upstate, central NY.
Hope I answered your question.
