No idea, but I have a new set of 460 headers for a Ford van that I'll let go

    cheap!
  • For something with as many different pieces as you have probably no standard - off shelf set will fit. Get your car to a custom header manufacturer, and be prepaired to pay for the time it takes to build a set for your Wasp. I would also having them coated with Jet Hot or simular to proctect your $$$$$ investment. If you were in Washington State I would suggest Stans Headers in the Kent area. He builds a good set, mostly tri y style. Lou Cote
  • well thanks for the help

i kinda figured that would be the case
  • You might have to go with a set of shorty block-hugger 460 headers, available from several sources. As far as full-length headers go, that will definitely be a custom-built job.

Well - you've come to the right place!

    Sanderson Headers http://www.sandersonheaders.com/

Sanderson makes tube style block hugger headers - or the style I bought which are cast w/ceramic coating. The cast block huggers fit tighter than the tube type...although my setup is different I'm putting a 454/TH400 with the original suspension and steering and was able to do it because of the headers...

NOTE: BLUE TAPE (AND TAPE RESIDUE) WAS APPLIED BY ME TO HELP PROTECT THE COATING WHILE FITTING...
  • Those are nice looking Dan.

Yeah - I actually like the look with the fins on the cast header better than a tube style header. Since I'm going to put some vintage finned aluminum valve covers or some Edelbrock Elite-no Name ones like in this pic

And if there is any possible way to get a sponsorship or I can find a deal on one...the Six Shooter setup from BG with a finn topped air cleaner...

It should make for a nice clean looking engine.
  • "zero to the speed of light in 2.2 seconds". that sounds like my super mopar.....
  • just an idea I had but on my small block I want to find some very plain looking valve covers and then put some kind of Hudson logo on them. Whatever goes into my Hudson is going to end up being Hudson..lol
