Red '37 coupe? Wouldn't mind having one, but never did. The owner of my former '36 converible told me he decided to simplify his life a little and put about 3/4 of his 18 car collection up for sale via this broker. And BTW, the Franklin Mint people are planning to do a photo shoot of the '36 in preparation for doing a model of it! Maybe they'll let me buy the first one ... I invested eight years of work in the original! Park
  • I emailed them - they got back to me and the current price is $155,000. I think I'll take two, can anyone lend me some greenbacks.
  • Rumors are there is a 1954 Jet Convertible prototype coming up forsale. Perhaps they will trade. LOL

In 1967, I was building a '36 Chev pickup hot rod- 283 Chev, Powerglide, '57 Olds rearend, etc. Needed motor mounts fabricated, so made cardboard templates and went to the local metal guru. He was a Hudson guy- he made my mounts, but I remember spending some time with him in a really pretty and nice running '37 Terraplane coupe, and him trying to talk me into paying $200 for it. I was ready, but talked to my dad, and he advised that it was far too much money, and anyway, Terraplanes had a terrible reputation, so I passed. Thanks, Dad. . .
