reverse lights

I have a 53 super jet thats just about complete the only problem is I can't figure out where the reverse/back-up lights wire into. I've got the wiring diagram but there not shown. I have the wire connected and ran to the front and have tested it on the clock power cord and the lights work fine,but for the life of me I can't find were they connect to any imput would be helpfull.

if they are the same as hornet, power feeds from the light switch and then through the neutral switch (located under the hood on the shift linkage at the steering column) for a hydramatic equiped car. if you have a standard i believe you use a separate switch at the transmission end of the linkage)
