WANTED virgin 51-54 308 IRON head
prefer a cast iron head that's uncut (2" thick) and no rust in the spark plug holes (plugs must fit snugly when screwed in halfway/all-the-way).
"308" must be raised & prominent on the surface, pas side, between spark holes 1 & 2.
please send me a private or e-mail message, this Forum.
THANKS,
John

still looking for the 308, IRON head!
Billy Churchman, do you still have one of these for sale?
(Billy's only 40 miles North of Memphis, Tn, and perhaps a member either of the Central Mississippi Valley Chapter - HET, OR the Gateway Chapter - HET)
Surely one of you fellows have a good 308 IRON head (2 " thick) that you can spare within 75-100 miles from Memphis, TN.
THANKS for checking in your attic and your storage areas, etc.

Although Bill Albright is in CA he probably has what you are looking for. USPS will cost about $25.0

Whoever you get it from, make sure it is guaranteed and manufluxed before you install it. It's a pain in the rear to install only to remove it and have to send it back.0
