Have you guys noticed how many Hudsons for sale on eBay were used to make the "Doc Hudson" fiberglass parts for the movie?

LOWES Promotional DOC CAR
For those who are speculating... this is for real. Kevin is infact the person who created DOC HUDSON shown below in the picture. The cars were bought to support the.. SPLASH needed to create the Composite body. The fact that there are two cars is because the broker who sold the cars to GUNNAR RACING would not sell the Hollywood without buying the other car. Two car deal only.

Gunnar Racing built DOC without Disney or Pixar financial support strictly as a car for Paul Neuman to race. The chassis is a Petty racing truck chassis.

DOC is currently on display at 13 Theater drive in complex to promote CARS.



The no reserve auctions are to get the cars back into the hands of Hudson folks. If you go to the GUNNAR RACING website after next Tuesday there will be pictures of the process and story of building DOC HUDSON.

The Yellow car was restored in Indianapolis IN and brought to NY the other car was restored by the owner there. Both cars are now in Florida at Gunnar Racing. They run and are in decent shape.
