Unity fog lites

Hi

Does anyone know, Kanters auto supply list Hudson crest for Unity fog lamps in 5 or 6 inch lamps. Are fog lamps measured at lense diameter or total outside diameter of the lamp? I would like to get the right ones the first time.

Chuck, The way Unity indicates which light is what size is by letter. The letter "H" indicates it's a 4 1/2" , the letter "S" indicates a 6' light. Generally speaking the 6" lights were used up to the 1947 model year while the 4 1/2 ' were used on the stepdown models on Hudsons. This is for both fog and spot. Lamp diameter is the key in sizing.

I have the fog lamps i was just wanting to order the Hudson crest for the top and they want to know if they were 5 or 6 inch lamps. Thanks for the help.
