Father's Day Scavanger Hunt

Got out of bed, went to get a cup to make my coffee, and there is a "Sheriff", Cars toy, along with a note that say's,"after your cup of Joe", you still have a way till I'm "restored". A Doc Hudson toy was in my '48. I kept getting clues, and finding more toys. Filmore was in the flower bed, Mater was in my Semi, and Lightning McQueen was in my Vette. What a cool way to get the "Cars" collection on Fathers Day! Leave it to my creative bunch.

    VERY COOL WES!!!!

Our family forgot all about Father's Day until it came on the news. No toys for me, but we did go to Toys R Us to get a basketball hoop for my son and I just had to buy him a Lightning McQueen t-shirt (they had no Doc Hudson).

Well, I guess I did alright - got FD cards from each of the kids, along with a can of peanuts from one daughter and a newspaper article about the Memphis-Arkansas Speedway that I've mentioned on here from my Memphis daughter. Nice recalling an old memory while chomping down on the goober peas!!!! And to top it off my favorite, Kasey Kahne won at Michigan Speedway this afternoon - ok, ok, so it was rained out after the half-way point. Don't matter who you run over to get there, just as long as you get there.

Hope all you fathers had a great day -

    Hudsonly,
