  • Is it me or does the right hand carb list to one side? Makes you wonder why someone would paint the manifold (and heat shields!) and put grungy carbs back on. And why is it on the dining room table? Maybe some flowers in it would help.

    The reason the carb is listing is that it is not bolted down. Look closely at the photo, there are no nuts on the carb mounting.

    The manifold looks level and the other carb is plumb. I haven't ckecked the ebay listing for clear pictures, but I'll take your word that the nuts are missing from the carb studs.

    When the carbs are bolted down and the manifold is level, both carbs will tilt to the right.



    When on the engine mounted in the car, which tilts down to the rear, both carbs are level, but the front one is higher by definition.

    Linkage looks like it has been messed with I see no spring on the shaft? Bill A has them for 40 bucks I believe
