Hello all,

I know you have been missing my "wit and banter" this week on the forum!

At a minimum some of you might have noticed 49C8.Com has been offline this week!

I was the victim of a "rogue heat wave" that reached into the low 90's in the Seattle area (with only 50% humidity!) early this week that fried my 4 year old wireless router, web server power supply and motherboard all in 1 fell-swoop.

I had to wait to get paid Friday to buy the new parts and I'm limping onto the internet for the moment.

49C8.Com is still offline but I hope to have it back online sometime this evening - after it cools off some more (It's only in the low 80's now...)

Technology...aint it grand sometimes? (translation... it ususally costs a grand $$ when something goes out!:mad: )

Sorry to hear of the misfortune... but glad to hear that even with the kick in the teeth you are on the fight and coming back strong... Cheering U on from Texas....

49C8.com should live and online again ~ finally!

If anyone still has problems connecting (other than the slow download because of the pictures...still working on that one...) please let me know - from what I can tell it should be out there...

Thanks for all who've visited 49C8.Com so far...less than 2 years and with no advertising or search engine submissions and I've gotten close to 4000 unique hits on the home page alone.

That just goes to show you how many people around the world were searching out any information they could find - even before Doc Hudson was heard of!
