Hi all need some info...

I have a '47 Commodore 8 sedan with drivemaster trans. I need a driveshaft

1. I was wondering if a driveshaft from a drivemaster car was the same length as a standard 8cyl with overdrive?

2. Or is the drivemaster shaft the same as a car without overdrive?

3. Was it possible to have a drivemaster setup that also had overdrive equipped?

What should be the stock length ?

I had the original driveshaft from the car but I had it trimmed and balanced to fit a stepdown 232 w/ OD. (I bought the car as a rolling shell) Then after that, I located the original specific engine from my car.. I'd rather not have the driveshaft lengthened again and instead find an original, maybe sell or trade the trimmed drive-shaft.

Drive-Master could be combined with OD or not, so the only factor is whether the car has OD.

My car is a C8 model 174 ... I also just found out that it was a drivemaster without overdrive.
